Economics LTSN is again inviting nominations from within
the economics community as part of the annual learning and
teaching in economics awards initiative. If you think that
you or a colleague deserve some recognition for the quality
of teaching delivered or would like to read about former
winners than access the Economics LTSN Web site at:

Outstanding Teaching
--------------------
The Outstanding Teaching Award is given in recognition of
exemplary teaching practice that both encourages
understanding of and inspires an interest in economics. It
will be judged by a national panel of experts.
Nominations
-----------
Peer- or self-nominations that address each of the five
criteria should be no longer than 800 words and submitted
via our online form at:
http://www.economics.ltsn.ac.uk/awards/form_ot.htm
Particular attention will be paid to any evidence of
exemplary practice (e.g. summaries of student feedback,
attendance levels etc.)
Criteria
---------
The Outstanding Teaching Award will be awarded to an
academic or a team of academics that have demonstrated
excellence across the five criteria of:
* Course Structure
* Delivery
* Student Response
* Student Performance
* Peer Recognition
The centre reserves the right not to make an award.
Self-nominations are permitted.
