Tuesday 28th October 2003
One-day event
Newman College of Higher Education
E-learning can provide a wide range of opportunities to enhance learning
and teaching in Further and Higher Education. It can offer a flexible,
accessible and inclusive learning experience for students of all ages and
abilities.
As educators, we recognise the potential, but how do we move forward to
embed e-learning in our learning and teaching activities?
This one-day conference has been designed to bring together educators and
those interested in the ways ICT can transform learning and teaching.
Contributors include:
Kathy Wiles - senior adviser with responsibility for e-learning at the
Learning and Teaching Support Network (LTSN) Generic Centre
Stephen Clarke - Team Leader, Information Services, University of Birmingham
Dr Andy Syson - Head of Learning Technology at Coventry University.
Exhibitors include JISC, Talis Information Ltd, and Sentient.
Syndicate group sessions will provide opportunity for discussion and the
exchange of ideas.

The conference will be held at Newman College of Higher Education,
