Dear colleagues,
I have an applicant for 2003 entry who is profoundly deaf and registered
blind. This student has indicated Sense usually offers all support. I
am awaiting the LEA decision re DSA, but need to consider how best to
assess the student - student has requested assistance (local NFAC
centre, RNIB, Sense?). Has anyone had any experience of referring a
deaf blind person for assessment, and if so where was the student
assessed and to what success?
Many thanks,
Jannine
