RECORDS MANAGER
ALC Grade 2/3 (£21,125 - £33,679)
Applications are invited for the post of Records Manager to play a key
role in supporting our compliance with Freedom of Information (Scotland)
and Data Protection Acts and reflect best practice. Integral to this
will be the development and implementation of a records management
policy and system for the University. The postholder will also be the
Data Protection Officer for the University in due course.
Applicants, who will have strong organisational and communication
skills must be graduates with relevant knowledge of records, archive or
library management or equivalent. Experience in implementing and
managing a records management system, knowledge of the legislation in
this area and supervisory experience will be an advantage. This is a
three year post in the first instance.
