Computer ethics teaching project
I am setting up a research project on collaborative learning in computer
ethics/professional issues (the legal, social and ethical implications of
computer systems design and use). The project will be a development of
current work where students in three universities are working together in
virtual teams. These team use internet tools to work together in solving
moral dilemmas in the field of computer and information technologies. I am
particularly keen to establish contact with colleagues in Asian universities
with a view to proposing a research project for the EuropeAid Asia Link
programme funded by the European Commission. Please contact me if you are
interested in further information, even if you are not currently involved in
teaching this subject.
