What Do Intelligent Enterprises Know? Harness the Power of Data, Content and
Knowledge (formerly titled Knowledge Wise : A Roadmap for Smart Enterprises)

Information Highways, Canada's premier e-content conference and industry
Showcase is celebrating its 15th consecutive year! We are now seeking
dynamic speakers to deliver presentations to an audience of key stakeholders
and decision makersresponsible for purchasing, creating, managing and
delivering e-content solutions in Canada's most significant private and
public sector enterprises. If you are a content or content software user,
industry expert, consultant, industry analyst or solution provider with a
unique or dynamic case study who is able to present with a client, we are
interested in including you on the 2004 Information Highways Conference
program.
Preference will be given to e-content users, consultants, industry analysts
and experts. Submissions from e-content industry vendors or solution
providers must include a user/client as a co-presenter and should
incorporate a case study. The co-presenter must be identified by name and
company in the original submission.
This year's conference theme focuses on intelligent enterprises and how they
have learned to harness and integrate the value of their data, content and
knowledge assets and use them to fuel their strategic business and
operational practises. Presentations and conference sessions will focus on
aspects of e-content that help organizations:
* reduce costs
* improve customer relationships,
* enhance competitiveness
* ensure legal and regulatory compliance
* improve internal communications
* develop new revenue streams
* harness human capital
* exploit the power of the content, knowledge and document management
technologies
Conference delegates want to learn about practical and responsive solutions,
best practises and successes that they can use to help them meet their own
challenges and those of their organizations. Dynamic and stimulating
keynotes, sessions, panels, clinics and workshops will deliver the tools and
direction conference delegates need to build an intelligent enterprise.
Those interested in delivering presentations or case studies should submit a
150 - 200 word abstract outlining their proposed presentation and the stated
learning objectives by September 15, 2003. The Information Highways
Conference is an educational event. Product promotions will not be allowed.
Well prepared, objective presentations enhance the credibility of the
speaker, their organization and the industry as a whole. The best received
presentations incorporate a case or industry study or a panel discussion.
