Dear Colleague,
The Multiconference on “Computational Engineering in Systems Applications”,
sponsored by the CNRS in cooperation with the IMACS and IEEE/SMC Society,
will be held July 9-11, 2003 in Lille, France.
Within this framework, we are pleased to announce a session on:
“Decision Making for Human/Machine Systems”.
The aim of this session is to define the various problems involved
in human-machine system-modelling and to establish the theoretical
foundations and practical aspects of decision-making.
Decision-making may be used in several functionalities
such as planning decision-making, control processing,
medical diagnosis, problem solving, information retrieval, data fusion.
The topic of interest in this session include but is not limited to:
·Adaptive and learning systems,
·Artificial intelligence,
·Behavior decision making,
·Data fusion,
·Decision analysis,
·Decision making in the selection of adequate media and modalities,
·Human computer interaction and virtual reality,
·Human decision making,
·Human-machine systems,
·Intelligence decision support systems,
Electronic abstract submissions should be done before February 5, 2003,
