It may be useful to CHIR@D to nominate potential evaluators en bloc,
maybe for more the just the Health area. In the first instance we better
find out how many of us are on the list already or explictly do not want
to be on the list at all. Responses please and I will collate for
Graham.

Commission calls for evaluators for FP6
On 4 December the European Commission published two calls for experts to
assist it in evaluating and selecting proposals to be funded within the
Sixth Framework Programme (FP6 2002-2006).

The first call for applications focuses on individual experts, who are
invited to register directly in a newly developed database.

The second call concerns research institutions and other organisations
with an interest in research, which are invited to present lists of
candidates. This is the first time such organisations have been asked to
suggest names of experts.

Both Calls remain open until 31.12.6.


Experts appointed by the Commission will assist it in evaluating
proposals and may be called on to monitor projects as well.
