Dear Members!
I am compiling a list of individuals who are working, researching or
actively involved in preserving and promoting the history and heritage of
Black and Asian people in the UK who would not mind being contacted by
individuals, groups and organisations who are also interested in these
areas. I sent a similar request for information two years ago, but I am
also sending this request as the London Black and Asian
Heritage Commission (Greater London Authority initiative) is soon to be
established and they are keen to make contact with individuals who are
London- based. The broader, more long-term aim is for the Black and Asian
Studies Association (UK) to have a national listing of individuals working,
researching or actively involved in these areas so this is for ALL
members WHERE EVER you may live or work in the UK!
Would you would like to be included? If so, would you like to provide
further information as to your work/involvement?
