> A new MSc degree in management will commence in October 2003 at Department of Management, University of London. The programme is designed for graduates who wish to develop a critical understanding of the importance of innovation and technology in business strategy and the role of technology and innovation policy. The programme links management with institutional and evolutionary economics.

> The degree programmes combines specialist taught courses on innovation and technology policy with general training in management, business organization, strategy and research methods. The two specialist compulsory modules Innovation: Management and Policy and Innovation Systems, Networks and Social Capital cover topics such as models of the innovation process, strategic management of innovation, the firm as a nexus of social relations, social capital, inter-firm networks, national innovation systems, and innovation policy and technology policy. Students are also required to take the Research Methods in Management module and the core management course Principles of Organization and Management.
