Hello, I went tonight to the cinema in Salerno to watch The Dreamers, the
last film by Bertolucci. A tender memory of 1968 in Paris, with lots of
innocent sex and high bourgeois communist ideology. The last scene of the
actual riot with Molotov cast against the ‘poor’ young police men by the
rich bourgeois kids of Paris intelligentsia is worth the entire patience
that 2 hours of soft porno among the three college students involved and
proto-incest between the two tenderly monstruous siblings required me,
really. This is mainly an homage to Pasolini’s poem ‘Vi odio, cari
studenti!’ (‘I have you, dear students’)…………...It was rightly and comically
defined the 'First Tango in Paris', and I think Bertolucci himself is aware
of it.
Has anybody watched it? Anny, have you?
