Yup, Tony, I think the lack of a common vocabulary is to the point,
simultaneously we are employing language, which is common, while coming from
private perspectives, hence the confusion.
With all the rows that have been going on, my points have been that Alison
has been talking from the view of personal perspective, while some of her
extensions of that have been vulnerable to distortions which I know well she
doesn't hold, Erminia meanwhile seems to be coming from an extreme
theoretical point of view, which again seems vulnerable to distortion.
Now I don't know how well I'm reading either Al's or Ermi's posts, notice
the deliberate use of the familiar there, that is the kiss of peace, on the
cheek.
