You will conduct a collaborative project awarded to CRFR and Scotland's
Families( a consortium of voluntary agencies) by the Community Fund. The
project aims to work with young people who will be respondents or
consultants, to inform and shape support services for young people whose
family households have been transformed by the separation of parents,
re-partnering of a parent or death of a parent. You must have a degree and a
PhD in a social science subject or an equivalent record of completed social
research projects. You will be able to demonstrate interest in the project
issues and topic area, and have experience in conducting, analysing and
reporting on in-depth interviews. Direct experience of research with young
people and/or ethnic minority issues is desirable. The post is available
full time for three years from January 04.
