The Churchill Archives Centre has an immediate vacancy for a conservation
assistant to work on its extensive range of twentieth century collections.
This job requires someone with good manual dexterity and attention to detail
and preferably, some experience of archives and/or conservation. This
person should be computer literate and educated to degree level. Ideally
this person should demonstrate a willingness to pursue Conservation as a
career and be willing to attend training placements away from home. It is
envisaged that a minimum of 5 weeks will be spent on training placements.
Training will also be given on the job.
The post is for 2 years in the first instance. The salary will be in the
