Cultural Diversity Network Conference: The Black British History
Experience?

This is a free event at London's City Hall, running from 9.30am until
3.30pm.  Please pass
this invitation and programme onto your staff and colleagues.

Please note that there are only 120 places and that these are allocated on
a first come, first served basis.

This conference is for you if you work in the cultural /educational sector
and particularly if you work in a museum, library or archive. It aims to
explore ways of developing and making accessible a critical body of Black
history. In particular it will discuss and try to provide answers to some
of the recent debates around the role of Black History Month as a vehicle
for museums, archives & libraries and the wider cultural sector, while at
the same emphasising the role of history within Black History Month.
