There are two job opportunities currently available for enthusiastic young researchers of Islam in Britain, both starting in October 2003:
1. 'The Training and Development of Muslim Religious Professionals in Britain', funded by the Leverhulme Trust. This is a 6-month pilot study.
2. 'Genetics, Religion and Identity: a study of Bangladeshi Muslims in Britain', funded by the ESRC, for 3 years.
Attached to this message are further details. I would be very grateful if you could circulate this information among your networks, and *if you work in an institution, please place the attached on a suitable noticeboard* - MANY THANKS!
