The aim of the course is to provide a grounding in questionnaire design and
administration. Participants will gain practical experience in the design
and evaluation of questions, questionnaires and scales and in key aspects
of analysis.
'Questionnaire Design and Analyses' is intended for clinicians,
researchers, public health specialists and other health care professionals.
Prior knowledge of basic medical statistics is helpful.
Topics to be covered include: designing questions; construction of a
questionnaire; piloting and administration of a questionnaire; developing
and evaluating scales; analysing questionnaire data. Teaching will by
lectures, paper and computer-based practical exercises and group
discussions.
