Dear all,
Having pestered you all about your awards ceremony dates, I'm on to
something else. Again, I'll happily report back a summary to the list.
it's interesting to see what practice is across the sector.
This time around, we're looking in to the retention of student work. If
anyone has the time, I'd be grateful if you could answer the following
questions, or give a freeform response.
i) For how long do you keep student exam scripts?
ii) Do you keep all student coursework (i.e. not just a sample for
external examiners) handed in? If so, for how long?
iii) If you do not, do you inform students that their returned, marked
work is the only copy and should be kept in case of appeal etc.?
iv) If you do keep copies of all student coursework for a period of
time, does this also apply to non-written coursework, eg sculpture (via
photo or video, maybe?), paintings, video, audio-recordings etc.
Many thanks
