Subject: Equal Pay Audits and UCEA Toolkit
Dear Colleagues,
We have been doing an equal pay audit for a while and have purchased the
UCEA toolkit. It has been a struggle to get the toolkit up and
running but is now proving invaluable in obtaining data relating to
gender. We have also used the toolkit to obtain a report on those with a
disability and Black, minority ethnic staff. We need your advice and
experience on the following issues, if you can help:
1. Whilst we get a percentage difference on the average equal pay
relating to gender, this does not (obviously) happen for disability and
ethnicity. Does anyone know a way round this?
2. We would like to see if there are pay differences by department - does
anyone know if it is easy to add more fields to the form and if so, how?
