the Art Libraries Society/UK & Ireland (ARLIS) has organised the following event, which may be of interest to graduate trainees from any field considering a career in visual archives or records management in special collections and art and design libraries.

AN INTRODUCTION TO ART & DESIGN REFERENCE RESOURCES
 ARLIS/UK & Ireland Workshop

DATE  Monday 27 October 2003    TIME  9.30 - 4.30

VENUE  National Art Library, Victoria & Albert Museum

AUDIENCE  Librarians new to art libraries, library trainees. This workshop is aimed at librarians new to the field, especially those having responsibility for responding to reader enquiries.
