We are pleased to announce the publication of volume 9 (2002) of Focus on
German Studies, a graduate student journal on and beyond German
literature. Thirteen contributors from Canada, Germany, the United
Kingdom and the United States offer new and exciting perspectives on
“things German” in a wide range of disciplines, including architecture
and cultural studies, history and philosophy, computer technology, film,
and literature. In addition, volume 9 includes reviews of recent books
in German and interviews with writers and German Studies scholars.
