Yes, quite Simon! It was all rather bizarre; most of my "group" understood
that slide to mean "carer" = "staff". If they meant relatives then why
didn't they say so? More New Labour neology I suspect; next our patients
will be called clients, and our departments will be called UCDs (unscheduled
care departments). This would solve the A&E versus ED row, and clearly we
couldn't have scheduled events, like clinics, held in a UCD! I was most
disappointed then, that HMG don't really give a stuff about us after all!
