I have just received a virus warning from a correspondent on whose mailing
list I am. I has gone apparently to all on her mailing list and is not
detectable by Norton or McAfee. As it is on my computer I have to contact
everyone on my address book. I'm sorry to have to put you to this trouble
but it is quite easy to get rid of. If it isn't deleted then after 14 days
its insidious damage can be done.
The virus is called "jdbgmgr.exe" and is likely to be in your PC.
To get rid of it ;-
1.Go to START, then Find or Search
2.Click on Find or Search to get Files or Folders and write the offending
letter in the space provided.
jdbgmgr.exe
3. Ensure you are in your "C" drive
4. Click Find or Search
5. If the virus is there it will show up as
a teedy bear logo fllowed by jdbgmgr.exe. DO NOT OPEN
6. Highlight the offending logo and letters and right click to delete it
7. Go to your recycle bin and delte it there also.
If you have the virus it is important that you warn all on your own address
book
I'm so sorry that we have all been given this infuriating vandalism.
