Dear Ox-users
It seems that there is a problem in the outer( ) function, operation mode 'o'.
The program:
main()
{
decl mx;
mx = rann(5,20);
print(outer(mx,<>,'o'));
}
results in an error:
Ox version 3.20 (Windows) (C) J.A. Doornik, 1994-2002
outer(): type error in argument 2; expected: matrix, found: matrix[0][0]
Runtime error: argument error
Runtime error occurred in main(10), call trace:
ma.ox (10): main
The expression "outer(mx,<>,'o')" is pasted directly from online documentation
so there is hardly a room for my mistake. I will be grateful for any
news/comments about it.
best
