The church +is+ marvellous. Although it's principally romanesque, there are gothic portions as well. Heavily damaged during World War II, much of it was still closed off when I first visited in the mid-1970s. An external restoration was undertaken in the 1970s and an internal one in the 1980s; some parts have been reopened only within the past decade. So most of what one sees is restored in one fashion or another. For those who don't know this great gem, here are a few URLs by way of introduction:
