Hosted by ICES, the Ontario Health Intelligence Units and CIHI, this
two-day event will focus on theoretical and quantitative aspects of
health care measurement from population health, health services and
clinical perspectives. Plenary and semi-plenary topics include:
measurement of the health of populations and the health care system,
drug use and therapeutic effectiveness and data quality. Intensive
workshops will be featured that include topics such as: programme
evaluation, measurement of socio-economic status, small area rate
variation, spatial and longitudinal analysis, measurement of continuity
of care, public health surveillance programmes and the development of
privacy impact assessments.
