Hi,
This is due to a problem with the ATLAS software: there is a dependancy
loop in the rpm's, and updaterpms can't cope with it. The problem only
occurs if all the rpm's have to be installed at once - ie. installing a
blank node from scratch.
A solution to this is:
1) Comment out the Atlas software from the rpm lists on the LCFG server
for CE and WN's on /opt/local/linux/6.2/rpmcfg
2) Install any new CE's and WN's using LCFG. These will not have Atlas
software installed. However they will have bash installed, amongst
other things
3) Uncomment the Atlas software in the rpm lists on the LCFG server
4) run updaterpms on the CE and WN's. The Atlas software should now be
added incrementally. As bash is already installed the dependancy loop is
broken.
Owen.
