What factors influence the process of embracing concepts of terrorism and
martyrdom?
Presentations will explore the role played by socio-cultural and
environmental influences, religious sources, family, beliefs and political
systems. Provisionally, speakers include: Prof. John Cox (Keele
University), Mr. Colin Irwin (DSTL), Dr. Martin Davies (Goldsmiths), Dr.
Humayun Ansari (RHUL), Dr. Marco Cinnirella (RHUL) & Ms. Niqi Mee (DSTL).
