I take the opposite view Ray - this is an absolute
bargain for the nhs, even if you only teach on 3
courses. Most people who teach on the life support
courses contribute significant amounts of their own
time to it for nothing. Even if you get professional
or other leave, there is always extra work or swapped
shifts on return plus preparation time and time away
from family. I think it is laudable that 50% do more
than a few courses.
Just imagine if the management consultants who do
'dealing with aggression' courses etc ran atls.....
