Position: Senior Ecologist
Location: Edinburgh

Our client, a major multi-disciplined international consultancy, is
looking to recruit a senior terrestrial ecologist to join its existing
team based in Edinburgh. With upwards of 5 years experience post-
graduation, preferably gained within consultancy, you will have
substantial experience of Phase 1 Surveys and Interpretation, along with
experience of the preparation of Ecological Impact Assessments. Experience
of NVC surveys would also be advantageous, as would any experience of
working with protected species. Suitable candidates should also be
eligible for full IEEM membership. Please note that there is flexibility
regarding working hours, and applications from candidates wishing to work
on a part-time or flexible basis are encouraged. The position will involve
not only the co-ordination of internal staff and sub-consultants, but also
close liaisons with external clients and internal project managers
therefore excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also
paramount.
