medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
> I am looking for the liturgies used in late 11th century Rome.
Anyone have a decent idea where I might be able to track these down?
Many thanks.
Dear Ken,
Margot Fassler, "Mary's Nativity, Fulbert of Chartres, and the
Stirps Jesse: Liturgical Innovation circa 1000 and Its Afterlife,"
Speculum, 75 (2000), 389-434, has a section on relevant Roman
liturgies, with further references. It might be helpful for you.
Cheers,
Jim Bugslag
