Portfolio (coursework) and other smaller scale investigations I insist that
they are word processed. All other types of work I may set is hand written.
I encourage weaker students at first to word process so that they can
re-draft their work to encourage better use of English and if necessary
re-structure the entire piece. I have found recently that using of writing
frames helps.
