Hi Robert,
I'm also interested in this area.
Tindal and Fuchs, 'A Summary of Research on Test Changes: An Empirical Basis for Defining Accommodations' July 1999 might be of some use to
you (?) I found it referenced in the bibliography of Ozcan Konur's journal article ' Assessment of Disabled Students in Higher Education:
current public policy issues' which, if you want to check that out, was published in Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education, vol27,
No2, 2002.
Hope that helps.
I would be keen to know more about the research you are doing here and in what context.
Best wishes,
Madeleine

Subject: Graduate Record Examination
I have information from GRE (Graduate Record Exam) about how they recommend scores for people who received accommodations be treated. I hae
not been able to learn anything about the degree to which these scores have been shown to be valid. Does anyone know of studies that have
correlated accommodated scores with non-accommodated scores? Was there ever a norm group used in determining the validity of the
accommodated tests? If studies were done, do they just lump all accommodated scores together or do they examine by type of accommodation
requested, type of disability reported, etc? Finally, do any academic entrance exams bother to do this kind of research? Thank you. Robert
