italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Italians and Italianist Colleagues, the groups "Italians and
Italianists at Kalamazoo" is proud to announce that we have three
sessions for next May! We invite proposals for papers on
"Tales of Good (and not so good) Women in Italy": papers might address
issues of women in novelle, poetry, chronicles or historical documents.
Please send your proposals by August 31, 2002 directly to me, Leslie
(see address below); you may e-mail in .rtf format if you prefer.
We already have two full sessions, those on Sercambi (III) and Public
Life in Medieval Italy (I);
Italians and Italianists (3):
I. Public Life in Medieval Italy (FULL)
II. Tales of Good (and Not So Good) Women in Italy (please send your
proposals to me, Leslie; address below!)
III. Giovanni Sercambi: Writing in the Renaissance (FULL)
