Following on from our previous sixth-form day and subsequent teachers? day, and in response to
popular demand, we are going to hold a Russian Day for Year 12 and 13 students on Tuesday 24
September 2002. The day will include:
* a range of presentations (in Russian and English) and language activities relating to AS and A2
topic areas (provisional topics ? life in a Russian region; youth culture; contemporary Russian
literature; Russia at the start of the 21st century)

The last event proved to be great fun, and students and teachers alike told us that they gained a
great deal from the day.
