Any jet setters here going to the NAS world of difference conference in
London next week.
I have just lernt there are going to be 600 people there which means I shall
definatley have to dress to be noticed in order to get my point accross.
It is going to be very very hard for me as at the moment I do not know of
anyone else from any lists who is going.
I am going to do more than listen as I have an agenda of my own, however I
am not sure that I will be able to pursue it as effectively as I might.
My take on this is that if I had known about it erlier I would have lobbied
to get my paper included, but as a fringe lobbyist I will be just that, on
the margins. Not that I would have much hope competing for air space with a
bunch of jumped up academics anyway.
But I am perseverant at least. I have a mission and it won't die at the
confernece if no-one is listening to the AC viewpoint, it will just be the
wrong place that is all.
If only one person who is listening who is in a position to and is prepared
to take the message further then it will be a success.
To many of the participants it will be a paid expences junket, but to me to
get there it is a very considerable investment, as I have never been to a
conference of this size and prominence before.
