I have some questions regarding the proposal for the type scheme
"aggregation level":
1) could the scheme be used with a new type qualifier (perhaps called
"collection" or "aggregation level")? For example: <meta
name="dc.type.collection" scheme="aggregation-level" content="folder">
2) do the values in the scheme replace "collection" in the dc type
vocabulary? If the proposal is accepted, will "collection" be removed from
the vocabulary?
3) does the value "Bibliographic item· Collection" mean one resource or more
than one? Using the terms "item" and "collection" together is ambiguous.

Subject: Comments to the DC GOV WG new-term proposal
DC-General,
After the meeting 12-13 May in Bath, the Usage Board has recommended that
the new-terms proposal from the DC GOV WG must be commented at the
DC-GENERAL list before next UB meeting in Florence.
So, for a period of approx. 1 month from today the new-terms can be formally
commented by the Dublin Core community at the DC-GENERAL list.
Because it is still vacation-period, the deadline for commenting is extended
to 2002-09-17 - then all should have a possibility for commenting.
The new-term proposal can be found at the DC GOV WG area of the Dublin Core
Web-site. Directly via:
