God, the standard of reporting and ableist language in this newspaper piece
is awful - no wonder the guy died unable to ask for help in his life for
fear of being a burden - was it worth the 'superman' obituary - doesn't
suprise me - journlists have such a poor grasp of disability issues - this
isn't a transport issue it is a great example of someone being killed by an
ableist society and the power of words, language and culture

Lilith,
Thanks for this.
Also my Local Council is currently debating Hertiage Bluestone issues
against Disability Access so this sad news item
comes at a time to highlight safety issues.
