We are extremely HAPPY to announce that the CAQDAS Networking Project has
been allocated new funding by the ESRC for the next 4 years, starting
formally in November 2002. We will continue to provide support, training and
information about the use of software for qualitative data analysis. We'd
like to express our deep thanks to the ESRC, and congratulate them on a wise
decision:-)
Do please continue to tap into the existing web pages meanwhile at
CAQDAS web site: http://www.soc.surrey.ac.uk/caqdas/
I append a FULL LIST of currently scheduled events and for now, bring to
your particular early attention some of the new aspects of the project.
NEW!!!
TRAVELLING 'SOFTWARE PLANNING' EVENTS: (starting in 2003)
*Freely provided software planning events - designed to provide
introductions to a range of software programs AT UK institutions whose
researchers find it difficult to travel to the CAQDAS Networking Project
base, at University of Surrey. Make these sessions suit your needs. They can
also include a clinic element for existing users to get advanced or
intermediate help with specific software useage with their individual
projects. 4 of these planned per year. Sites to be arranged by negotiation.
(If you would like us to provide such a session - start talking!)
*apart from presenters travel expenses
NEW!!!
HALF DAY FOLLOW UP CLINICS- specially rated for those who have already been
on the introductory software specific courses with the project, but who need
follow up help, at intermediate or advanced level. See list of scheduled
events. It is not expected that these will accommodate more than 4 or 5 in
each session, but savings can be achieved by building them into the
scheduled list of events, so book early!
INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS: Similar sessions can always be arranged on an
indivdually negotiated basis in any case.
