**Research Associate - Information Literacy

A Research Associate is required for a three year AHRB-funded
project to start as soon as possible after September 2002. The
project will investigate UK academics' conceptions of, and
pedagogy for, information literacy (see
http://dis.shef.ac.uk/literacy/ahrb.htm for more details).
This full time post in a 5*A research Department requires:
experience of qualitative research (e.g. from work on a PhD or
Masters dissertation, or on a research project) ; good oral and
written communication skills.
Desirable are: experience of the phenomenographic research
approach, of social research interviews, and of questionnaire
design and analysis; knowledge of relevant research analysis tools;
knowledge of information literacy.
