BARG stands for Bristol Archaeological Research Group, which became after 1974 Bristol and Avon Archaeological Research Group (BAARG) which became the present Bristol and Avon Archaeological Society (BAAS).
In answer to Anna's question, we do hold copies of some of the bulletins, and field guides, but since they are the only ones we have (as part of the Bristol SMR) I would be loath to loan them out. You could, however, visit us in sunny Bristol and look through them if you wish.
