Dear All,
We are currently undertaking investigations into agricultural land that may
have been adversly affected by adjacent industrial activities.
1. One of the crops grown is specialist, and seasonal. We are considering
crop trials to assess the effects of groundwater on crops; can we grow an
substitute/analogue crop instead? Or do we have to grow the same crop?
2. There is more than one potential contaminant in the groundwater. Do we
need to know exactly which contaminants are affecting the crop in order to
make a determination (ie, how well do we need to define the source?).
Any advice/experiences gratefully received!
Anita
