@ Isn't this little chap more usually known as "Saint Cyr" in the west ?
IIRC there was a church dedicated to SS Julitte & Cyr in Nantes (Brittany)
until the beginning of the 13th C when the aptly named Peter Mauclerc
demolished it when improving the defences of the city.
Out-of-period - but wasn't "St Cyr" also the name of a French military
academy ?
Brenda M. Cook
"I care not if you bridge the seas,
Or ride secure the cruel sky,
Or build consummate palaces
Of metal or of masonry,
But have you wine and music still,
And statues and a bright-eyed love,
And foolish thoughts of good and ill,
And prayers to them who sit above ?
To a poet a thousand years hence.
James Elroy Flecker, 1884-1915.
