I have misplaced my Carrington, and I am trying to track down what I think
was the epigraph to his book. I remember a quote from one of Kipling's
letters, along the lines of, The trouble with religions is that the priest
eventually thinks he knows more than the god. Does anyone have a Carrington
to hand, and can they cite me the epigraph?
Thanks very much in advance.
