I'm sure you mean well, Graeme, but when you speak of "it is up to us to
give the paying public what they want - no pain
and mobility" and "what ever means necessary to get that patient mobile and
pain free", I feel that the hairs on back of my neck strongly protest for
obvious reasons. Otherwise I must say that I agree with Emily.

I am in total agreement with Emily. Patients don't give a monkeys about the
physiologcial nature of their pain. If they have a bad back, they would like
it to go. It is up to us to give the paying public what they want - no pain
and mobility. I am not for one second advocating the chronic use of anti -
inflammatory medication for the obvious internal health risks; but i am
suggesting that you use what ever means necessary to get that paitient
mobile and pain free.
If we suceed with the pateint leaving happy with their treatment, whether we
have achieved it physiologically or psychologically - we are all winners!
