I have been lured out of eavesdropping mode, just this once, simply
to state that when I was Chief Examiner for the IB, during most of the
1990s, I was impressed by the tremendous amount of input to the curriculum
that came from practising teachers, and the resources put in to staff
development by the organisation. As a result, candidate numbers for IB
Economics rose steadily, by about 15% pa on average if I remember rightly,
and I believe are still rising. And the corresponding facts for A Level
Economics are.....you don't need me to say.
