Sorry for the confusion in terminology in our hospital when we clinically
report on xrays we fill in a form which is returned to the radiology dept
with the film or form if it was only produced digitally. This form is
referred to as the provisional report locally i.e. it still has to be
formally reported. In response to Adrian they do have some training on the
ENP course and interpret xrays but check them with a doctor some have been
doing this for a few years now so would like to take clinical responsibility
for this.
I just wondered what "evidence" of competancy is acceptable. Incidently the
do show to a senior doctor wherever possible.
