medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
The "true" "Holy lance" is in one of the four pillars of the St-Peter's dome
in Roma. See the beautiful "Longinus" of Bernini.
Fortunately, the protestants haven't destroyed this relic in 1527. Heretics
!
from France, "la fille aînée de l'Eglise",

PS : "Longinus" is an object (or concept) embodyed, like st Sophie (gr.
sophia, wisdom) or st Foy (fr. foi, faith)
