Dear Lis-Linkers,
The Archives Hub is celebrating its first birthday this week. It has been a
busy year, with developments in both the look of the Hub and in its
searching facilities. There is also a great deal more content on the Hub
with the number of collections from the pilot phase more than doubling from
3,000 to over 6,500. Over 40 institutions are now represented, ranging from
the University of Aberdeen to the Women’s Library.
To bring the archives and library worlds together, World Book Day has been
chosen as the Collection of the Month feature for March. If you follow the
World Book day link from the Archives Hub homepage
http://www.archiveshub.ac.uk you will find links to a selection of authors
whose papers are described on the Hub. We are also supporting World Book Day
with a list of related links that you may find of interest.
The Archives Hub is continually evolving in response to user feedback so if
you have any comments about the Hub please fill in our feedback form, or you
can e-mail or telephone the Archives Hub direct (all details available from
the top right hand corner of the homepage).
Best Wishes,
Michelle Bell
