The South Western Branch of the Library Association is running an essay
competition for Branch Members with a prize of sponsorship up to £600
towards the cost of attending this prestigious and stimulating event.To
enter this competition you have to write an article for publication in the
Branch Newsletter of no more than 3000 words on what the IFLA slogan
'Library For Life: democracy, diversity , delivery' means to a library or
information service of your choice.All articles submitted will be judged for
their original and innovative ideas, with the most outstanding article being
published in the Branch newsletter and the author winning the trip to IFLA
